Academy of Radiology Research (ARR)
The mission of the Academy is identification of sources of support for radiology research and the use of that research to improve the knowledge base, educational programs, and patient care activities of radiology.

American Association for Women Radiologists (AAWR)
The association was founded in 1981 to:  provide a forum for issues unique to women in radiology, radiation oncology and related professions; sponsor programs that promote opportunities for women; and facilitate networking among members and other professionals.

American Association of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology (A3CR2)
The A3CR2 is an organization of academic radiology residents. The mission of the organization is to encourage residents and other trainee’s in academic pursuits, to involve the leadership of residency programs with the leaders of academic radiology, to encourage scientific inquiry among residents and to provide a voice for academic radiology residents in the affairs of organized radiology.

American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM)
The mission of the Association is to advance the practice of physics in medicine and biology by encouraging innovative research and development, disseminating scientific and technical information, fostering the education and professional development of medical physicists, and promoting the highest quality medical services for patients.

American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM)
The primary purpose of the Board, and therefore its most essential function, is the advancement of the health of the public through the establishment and maintenance of standards of training and education, and the qualification of physicians rendering nuclear medicine services to the people of the United States.

American Board of Radiology (ABR)
The mission of The American Board of Radiology is to serve the public and the medical profession by certifying that its diplomates have acquired, demonstrated, and maintained a requisite standard of knowledge, skill and understanding essential to the practice of radiology, radiation oncology and radiologic physics.

American Brachytherapy Society (ABS)
The American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to provide insight and research into the use of brachytherapy in malignant and benign conditions. The organization consists of physicists, physicians, and other health care providers interested in brachytherapy.

American College of Medical Physics (ACMP)

American College of Nuclear Physicians (ACNP)
The American College of Nuclear Physicians (ACNP) is comprised of physicians and others dedicated to enhancing the practice of nuclear medicine through the study, education and improvement of clinical practice.
